If a staff join on 1st August 2012, the entitlement leave is 8 days. In Annual Leave Balance, view on 31/12/2012, Earned Leave in the system will be 3.5 days, the management plan to adjust their leave become 4 days instead of 3.5 days. So, anything can set in the system?
System will calculate 8days/12 months = 0.66666666, so from Aug – Dec = 5 months so it will be 3.3333333 and round up to 3.5 days. We can only round up to half day instead of 1 day.
