How To Set Chiness Language on Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP

Answer

a) Start > Control Panel > Regional & Language Options > Click 'Languages' tab & Tick 'Install files for East Asian languages' Then  Insert your Windows XP installation CD into the CDROM & Click OK > Windows will prompt you to restart the PC, Click Restart Now

 

b) Go to Regional & Language Options > Click 'Languages' tab > Under 'Text services and input languages', Click 'Details' button

 

c) Under 'Installed services', Click 'Add'> Under Input languages, select 'Chinese PRC'

 

d) Under Keyboard layout/IME, select 'Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0' > Click OK

 

e) Highlight the 'Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0', click Properties > Under 'Conversion mode' to 'Word' > Click OK

 

f) Open any text editing program, hold down 'Ctrl' and left 'Shift' button together, then you will be able to input Chinese word
