How to import stocks with multi-UOM

Answer

Before you can import the multi-UOM, you have to import the stock master files first. To learn how to import the stocks, checkout the other article. Import master data from QNE Delphi Firebird version to QNE Optimum

After the import the stocks, you can now import multi-UOM from excel file.

  1. Prepare the Multi-UOM data in the excel file.

Execute the following script to extract all the UOM data from QNE Delphi:

SELECT STOCKCODE AS Stock, UOM1 AS UOMCode, UOM1RATE AS Rate, UOM1UNITPRICE AS SalesPrice FROM STOCK WHERE UOM1<>''

UNION           

SELECT STOCKCODE AS Stock, UOM2 AS UOMCode, UOM2RATE AS Rate, UOM2UNITPRICE AS SalesPrice FROM STOCK WHERE UOM2<>''

UNION           

SELECT STOCKCODE AS Stock, UOM3 AS UOMCode, UOM3RATE AS Rate, UOM3UNITPRICE AS SalesPrice FROM STOCK WHERE UOM3<>''

  1. Open any record from the list of stocks.
  2. From the toolbar of the "UOM Collections" list view, click the "Search" button. This will bring you to the full list of UOM objects for all stocks.
  3. Right-click on the list, select "Import from..."
  4. Follow the import wizard, configure the mapping

In order to import the UOM to the respective stock, you must map property “Stock” to the corresponding “StockCode”

  1. Complete the import wizard.
