Account Presets is a setting for you to define the posting accounts for the stock or service items you have created. Preset accounts can be used for multiple stock/service items as long as the GL account codes selected for posting are applicable to the particular stock/service item.
It is a compulsory field when creating a stock/service item. From the Navigation Pane, click on Stock and choose Account Presets. Click on “Add”.
System will open a new Stock Account Presets Details screen. Input the Preset Code and Name, then you can enable the Default button if you want to set it as a default preset.
Next, choose in which GL accounts it will be used when the stock/service items are used in the respective transactions. You are required to fill in all account fields.
Once done, click on “Save”.
