How to link UOB bank to QNE Cloud Accounting?

Before link account have to activate UOB SME account at phone device:

1) Download UOB SME app, can get at App Store or Google Play store

2) Click in to the app, key in organization ID and user ID

3) System will email the code to activate 

4) After key in the code, then system will SMS another code

5) After key in the code, then account activated

6) Proceed to login from UOB SME app

 

First time login UOB SME app

1) Login with organization ID, user ID and password

2) System will prompt register Infinity Secure

3) System will email the code to register infinity secure

4) After key in the code, system will SMS another code

5) After key in the code, system will prompt the countdown timer (12 hours). Please re-login after 12 hours

Link account: 

1) Login UOBSME as usual, key in Organisation ID, User ID and password.

2) When login to UOBSME, will need refer to UOB SME app at your phone to get the 6-digit and key in as token response.


3) After successful login UOBSME, go to Services > Partner Services > Link to Partner Services.

 



4) At Link to Partner Services screen, select which partner you wish to link. Click QNE to link.


5) Select company and click for Link account.


6) At this screen, tick to choose the UOB account and click Next


7) Once done the step, it will show Done, You’re all set up!

8) Next, Go to QNE Cloud Accounting, key in login details to login

9) After login Cloud Accounting will show like below screen


10) Go to General Ledger > Chart of Accounts > New > create GL account that under bank > after fill in the info click for save. Make sure Bank Account No. is correct


11) Go to General Ledger > Banking > Link Account


12) Select bank account > OK


13) Once selected bank account will add and show as below screen


14) At this screen can click for Refresh to update the Bank Balance amount. Click Request Bank Feed will update and show out all the transaction that perform in bank


What is the benefit for link QNE with UOB?

Once linked account, when login to QNE Cloud Accounting or UOB SME, both have overview dashboard to check or view the performance of the transaction

At QNE Cloud Accounting able to see the total amount bank balance and latest bank transaction 


At UOB SME website able to see Cash Balance, Account Receivable/Payables and Top Customer/Suppliers.


With this pie chart, you can keep track of overdue and upcoming invoices

TROUBLE SHOOTING

SCENERIO 1

UOB SmartBusiness refer a customer to Accounting Partner to onboard subscription. Subscriber decided to subscribe cloud accounting apps services to link to UOBSME-Partner Services. Subscribe to Cloud Accounting and activated. Navigate to Bank Settings (as shown below). However, can not find PARTNER SERVICES when login to UOBSME.

PLEASE ENSURE BUSINESS REGISTRATION NUMBER IS CORRECTLY ENTERED. EG. 1234567A. (The registration number are alphanumeric without symbol, special character or space)

This is due to UOBSME-PARTNER SERVICES has yet to enable in UOB Business Banking Cash Management Operation Centre (CMOC). Please contact respective personnel in UOB to have the services enable before this service is made available. This process will take 5-7 working days as it has to be reviewed, approved and configured manually by CMOC to ensure risk and compliance are adhered.

  1. UOB SmartBusiness DA refer customer to accounting partner
  2. Accounting partner follow up to onboard customer
  3. If customer decided to subscribe, accounting partner must immediate inform UOB SmartBusiness DA to execute CMOC registration. Please inform by email for tracking purposes with cc to customer.
  4. DA will follow up with CMOC to track registration status; once successful, DA will reply with an email to accounting partner and customer to inform of the CMOC registration successful.
  5. Subscriber to link the UOBSME-PARTNER SERVICES to cloud accounting app services. If there is any problem to link, subscriber must immediately inform UOB or accounting partner.


SCENERIO 2

UOB Business Banking customer voluntarily subscribe to cloud accounting partner app services and decided to link to UOBSME-Partner Services. Navigate to Bank Settings (as shown below). However, can not find PARTNER SERVICES when login to UOBSME.

In this situation, both UOB and accounting partner will not be aware of the customer action. Therefore accounting partner app content and UI is required to guide customer accordingly.

Steps required to address this situation is are as follows:-

  1. Accounting partner UI must contain instruction to guide subscribers to register for CMOC
  2. Notice of instruction to contain email for correspondence with accounting partner to initiate CMOC registration.
  3. Accounting partner to engage customer with cc to UOB SmartBusiness DA to follow up to register customer to CMOC
  4. UOB SmartBusiness DA to execute CMOC registration and continue to inform by email for status tracking purposes with cc to customer.
  5. DA will follow up with CMOC to track registration status; once successful, DA will reply with an email to accounting partner and customer to inform of the CMOC registration successful.
  6. Subscriber to link the UOBSME-PARTNER SERVICES to cloud accounting app services. If there is any problem to link, subscriber must immediately inform UOB or accounting partner.
