How to set Leave type for prorate or fully entitlement

1) Go to Human Resources > Leave Types > Click the Leave Type that you want to set for prorate or fully entitlement.

2) Choose Join/Confirm Date or Calendar Year in Calculation Method.

3) For example: this leave type is 60 days entitlement

Calculation Method = Join/Confirm Date


4) System will follow 'Calculation Year Of Service By' setting in Company Profile > Leave Setup.

5) If Calculation Year Of Service By = Join Date and Employee join on 05/05/2020.

6) Go to Human Resources > Leave Balance > Check Leave Balance for this Employee. Maternity Leave Entitlement will calculation start from Employee's Join Date until December.

Calculation Method = Calendar Year

7) Check Leave Balance for same Employee again. Maternity Leave Entitlement will calculation start from January until December
