Using Report Eco Mode Printing in QNE AI Cloud Accounting ©

Overview:

In response to user feedback, QNE AI Cloud Accounting has introduced a new feature called Report Eco Mode Printing.
This mode is specially designed for users who rely on dot matrix printers, which often struggle with the heavy use of colors and large background fills commonly found in QNE’s default report templates.

When Eco Mode is enabled, the system automatically adjusts report visuals by removing bold background colors and converting them to white, making the reports simpler and more printer-friendly, especially for dot matrix output. This ensures better compatibility, reduces ink usage, and preserves the structure of the report without compromising readability.

Scenario:

Use Case 1 – Dot Matrix Printing Compatibility:

Ms. Lee is an accountant in a manufacturing company that still uses dot matrix printers to produce duplicate report copies with carbon paper.
Previously, when she printed Sales Invoice and Ledger reports from QNE AI Cloud, the background color blocks caused the printed output to appear unclear or smudged.

After enabling Report Eco Mode Printing, those colored areas were converted to plain white, allowing her dot matrix printer to produce clean and legible reports without modifying the format manually or switching to older templates.

Solution:

Step 1 - Press Advance Option > Press Report Tab > Tick ‘Report Eco Mode Printing’.
