How to Restrict Users from Printing Duplicate Transactions

Scenario 

 

Some companies enforce a rule where transaction documents are only printed once for sending to clients or suppliers. To ensure users don't print the document multiple times, access rights are adjusted accordingly.

 

Note: To see how many times a transaction has been printed, you can search for that specific transaction, Info tab, then look for “Print Count”.
 

The sample below display that user has printed 2 times 


Solution 

 

    1. Maintenance > User Role > Select the user roles you would like to control
      2. Permission> Other Operations, unticked the setting as below 
      • Print Transaction more than once (Purchase Module)
      • Print Transaction more than once (Sales Module)
        3. A message will appear in the transaction if it has been printed more than once.
