Created by QNE Software Sdn bhd, Modified on Tue, 3 Sep at 3:08 PM by QNE Software Sdn bhd

Scenario:

In the context of implementing e-Invoicing in Malaysia, the terms "sandbox environment" and "production environment" refer to different stages and setups used during the development and deployment of the e-Invoice system.

The production environment is the live, operational system where real transactions and data are processed. This is the environment used for actual business activities, and it must be stable, secure, and reliable. Key characteristics include:

  • Live Data: Processes real transactions and stores actual business data.
  • Security: High level of security to protect sensitive information.
  • Reliability: Must be stable and available to support continuous business operations.
  • Compliance: Adheres to regulatory requirements and standards.

In summary, the production environment is where the validated, operational e-Invoice processes take place, and where compliance with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) regulations is mandatory.
