✅ Overview
POS Staff Access is a feature designed to allow cashiers to log in to the Front End POS system using their own personal 6-digit numeric PIN. This setup ensures secure, personalized access and helps management monitor and control cashier activities efficiently. Each staff member can be assigned to a specific outlet and cash register, and granted different access rights — such as permissions for discounting, performing cash in/out, and more.
For businesses with employee ID cards or barcode systems, we recommend using the same PIN as the staff’s ID for easier integration. This allows the cashier to simply scan their ID to log in, making the process even faster and more convenient.
✅ Scenario
Imagine a retail store with three cashiers working at two outlets. Each cashier needs access to the Front End POS to process sales, accept payments, or issue refunds. To prevent unauthorized usage and ensure accountability, the manager assigns each cashier their own unique 6-digit PIN.
Cashier A is assigned to Outlet 1, Register 1, with full access. Cashier B is assigned to Outlet 2 with limited permissions (no discount allowed). With POS Staff Access properly set up, each cashier simply enters (or scans) their PIN to begin their shift — quickly, securely, and without confusion.
Solution:
Step 1 - Expand Account > Press POS Staff Access

Step-by-Step Instruction:
Please fill in the required information such as:
Staff Name
6-digit PIN Number (Numbers only, alphabets are not allowed)
Assigned Outlet
Assigned Cash Register
Next, tick the checkboxes to assign the appropriate Access Rights — for example, whether the cashier can apply discounts, perform cash in/out, or access other specific functions.
Once everything is filled in, click Save. That’s it!
Your cashier can now log in to the Front End POS using their 6-digit PIN. Easy, secure, and efficient! ✅
