Overview:
Daily Sales Item report breaks down sales by each item sold in a day, including quantity sold, total amount, and cost. Useful for identifying which items are selling well daily.
Scenario:
A store supervisor in Seri Kembangan outlet need to check groceries item such as chicken egg gred C to monitor its daily sales for forecasting purpose. He opened the Daily Sales Item Report to view quantity and total sales per item in this outlet.
Solution:
1. Go to Reporting > Report Center
2. From the Sales tab, click + to expand the Daily Reports.
3. Select Daily Sales Item
4. Select start date and end date to view. If you want to view sales item for 1 day, please ensure to select the same date for both start and end.
5. Select Outlet. You may leave this field if you want to view all outlets. For this scenario, select Seri Kembangan outlet.
6. Next, you may select Stock Category that you want to view. This option depends on the category that you have set in the system.
7. If you have specific item to view the sales, you may search and select for the item. For example, Chicken Egg Gred C.
8. By default, system will show the Stock Code in the report. However, you may enable “Show Stock Name” if you want to view the Stock Name column in the report.
9. You also have option whether to Include Refund or not. By default, system disable the option. However, you may enable it if you want to view the refund amount in this report.
10. After done filtering all fields, click Preview to view the report in printable format.
11. The printable view will be displayed in other tab.
If let’s say your store manager require you to provide a hardcopy version of daily sales, this page will allow you to Print the report and share it to your manager accordingly.
Meanwhile, if you require a softcopy version, you may Export the report to multiple formats based on your preferences. The most preferrable format is PDF is unchangeable.
